Meet Piper Dobner, ND, MS

My name is Piper, I’m a naturopathic doctor with a specialty in microbiome therapeutics. I’ve worked in the fecal transplant space for almost a decade and treated numerous patients with recurrent and resistant C.diff infection.

From this experience, the understanding that our gut health depends on an ecosystem of microbes became apparent. This community of microbes, otherwise known as the microbiome, really wants for us to be healthy and strong so they have a thriving home to live. These bugs are our friends, not our foe. I view the human body through this lens. I want to support the ecosystem within, build your microbiome up, and allow your system to thrive from the central core of you!

In a world of antibiotic resistance and superbugs being created from our overuse of pharmaceutical medications, an ecosystem approach is essential to the patient outcomes I’ve seen in practice.

I love what I get to do! I feel so privileged to sit with patients and hear the story that led them to my door. My job is to teach you how to trust your body and its innate ability to heal.

You’re not stuck. And I’m really looking forward to help show you a different approach!

In addition to microbial therapies,  I work extensively with herbs, homeopathic remedies,  flower essences, bodywork techniques (cranial sacral therapy and myofascial release - both gentle, yet powerful therapies), and lifestyle assessment that includes nutrition, counseling and self-care.

Come share your story with me, and let’s get started in helping you become the healthy person you were always meant to be!

A little bit about my credentials:

I graduated from National University of Natural Medicine with a doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine and a master’s degree in Integrative Medicine Research. During my time as a student, my passion for the microbiome expanded immensely. Watching patients undergo life altering changes fueled my passion for helping reduce human suffering. Further learning the potential and power of the microbiome I began to realize - disease starts in the gut. And that gut is ruled by a vast community of little critters that need our love and support. I’m here for that. And can’t wait to meet you and teach you all about the ways this organ system can help you thrive!

My goal is to understand the root cause of your symptom picture and treat those symptoms in as gentle a way as possible. Layered within these treatment are therapies that support sustainable, biodynamic agriculture, and reduce the pharmaceutical impact on the local ecosystem.
